Re: Anti-Virus Freakout over game client
I've scanned our patch files, and found no traces of Trojans. Can you recall the steps you took as you installed our client?
I've also run into this forum, perhaps this may help regarding, Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.aidu,

Re: Anti-Virus Freakout over game client
I've played this client before, just one day my Anti-Virus started freaking out, I tried re downloading but every time the file met my computer it was knocked by my AV
I even asked my friend to send me the client and the same thing happened as soon as the file got in :/
and I downloaded it and extracted it in my Ta-Ro folder, replaced all files, just as the instructions state.

I've done some more research on, Trojan-GameThief.Win32.Magania.aidu and I've found out the following
It is a virus stopping you from entering your hard disk and it's drives as well as your registry. Windows may be opening and closing windows. It is a dangerous Trojan and or Worm stealing your personal information.

Trojan-PSW:W32/Magania is a large family of login/password stealing trojans that are reportedly made in China. The main purpose of the trojan is to steal logons and passwords from users who play on-line games, provided by Gamania.
It should be noted that some on-line games allow users to sell their character's possessions for real cash, so the motivation behind the creation of such trojans is to steal virtual goods and to convert those goods into real-world cash.
These trojans are usually distributed in file attachments to e-mail messages spammed out to victims by hackers. The file attachment is typically a single executable program. In most cases such an attachment is a self-extracting RAR archive that contains at least one more embedded archive. In one of these archives there's always a Magania trojan.
Once the infectious attachment is run, it usually displays an image as a decoy. At the same time the trojan's payload is activated.
The trojan installs itself to the system by copying itself to one of the Windows subfolders or to the Windows System folder. It then drops a DLL file that represents the main spying component. The trojan registers the dropped DLL as a component of Internet Explorer, so it always has access to the Internet and can monitor URLs that are visited in the browser."

Re: Anti-Virus Freakout over game client
My computer is CLEAN I know its clean and I trust my anti-virus very much, it says that the virus is in your client, its quarantined/ridden, my computer is not flipping out in any manner, All that is wrong is my AV really doesn't like your client for some reason, there is no traces of the virus in my computer other than what appeared on your client.

Re: Anti-Virus Freakout over game client
We roughly have over 50 accounts give or take the alts. With that said no one else's anti virus detected our client as a virus. Our client was checked by the team and our Developer. The only thing other thing I can suggest to you is, see if your friend is able to open our client without it closing. If they are able to, then.. i would suggest having your PC looked at again.
